what am i missing?

whatts up this is my first setup let me know if you think i can add anything

lights- 400 watt mh
soil- fox farms ocean soil
strain- unkown indica

i just picked up this one from a medical shop.. about 8 inches.. the dude at the shop told me to let it vegg for a week under 24/0 cycle and then go straight 12/12..

wat do you think?

Although you should get some nice yields with that 400w all for one plant, you're losing some of it to that blue wall. Lots use mylar or panda film to cover their grow area as they have near 100% reflection.

saw this plant in another thread -- never put them together like that (regardless of incentive to competition)

you're growing with soil? why do i see a net pot and rocks? did you get it as a clone?

thats a 400 watt? you can get a lot closer with it -- you need good ventillation and ac, but it'd drop it a bit.

i wouldnt worry about odor until the buds bud, but yes, add it to your list (even something as simple as the gel odor stop things -- alot of em)

what supplements are you using/planning on using? look for a nute starter kit for your first go round -- ounces of the important stuff...

i dont see a thermometer or fan -- what are those stats?

ya i just got the clone two days ago its been under 24/0 light cycle.. i think its grown an inch or two so far

but ya i made some improvements... lowered the lights so its 18 inches from the plant... added an air conditioner and put up some white paper to reflect the light until i can afford some mylar

rite now its 79 degrees but during the hottest part f the day it can get up to 87 degrees...

i heard 90 degrees is the death zone

i think 94 and the leaves start burning, but being scared of 90 didnt hurt anyone ;-)

i would say you're doing well -- 85 is preferred, but i tip up toward 87 every now and then.

get the wall painted white boy! lol add a fan in there, maybe add a home made co2 set up, 5 gallon bucket with a lid and a hole, make up some homemade wine to put in it, pulse u can drink it, cheap rec. grape juice mix, sugar and yeast

soo lemme get this straight i shhould put 5 gallons of water in there for humidity?

mm, no. humidity is bad -- i think he meant the water for the DIY C02...but i've heard that those are not worth it. commercial C02 or bust.

that plant should be on 18/6 and you should grow it for aabout a month or atleast untill you have alot of nice branching puting it strait 2 12/12 wiill cause it 2 bud and thier will only be a few little buds growing, 400 watt can easilly grow med sised plants in a 5x5 area. that pot could probly hold 2 plants and they could get up two atleast 2-4 ft tall on a 400

if u 12/12 that plant in 2 weeks it will probly be 4 inches taller then it is now , thinbk about it, 24/0 fine but u will have 2 water more and it will run up your electric bill.

temp is 79 rite now.. could get up to 87 during the hottest parts

i watered it a litttle yesterday b/c the soil felt a lttle dry after i stuck my finger about three inches deep

i cut green leaves all the time but if your leaves are droopy that means somthings wrong wait a few weeks then chop em every thing will keep growing as normal anyone c m blaze monsters?
