So here is the background of our 1st grow...We started germination on 11/12 and planted into 4" peet pots on 11/16. Started a 18/6 light schedule with a single T5 HO grow light. All seedlings were sprouted by 11/20. They were growing strong with new growth noticed almost daily. We were having to water almost daily because they would dry out. After a couple weeks they started yellowing followed by curling leaves with brown spots. These leaves would then die. New growth was still being noticed. We switched to a 8 bulb T5 HO setup with 4 bulbs turned off on 12/10. They were in a well ventilated room with fans for airflow all along too. Still yellowing and dieing leaves seen. We plastic wrapped the peet pots to retain moisture on 12/14 and were finally able to keep them wet. On 12/14 we also added a small amount of epsom salts to our water. We now water every 2-3 days. Added egg shells to soil on 12/15. Still growing with new growth seen but lower leaves are still dieing. More spots seen on lower leaves and will slowly spread up. Some purple noticed on upper stems. Finally able to purchase nutrients and ph test on 12/24. We tested our tap water at 7.0 so lowered with PH down to read between 6.0-6.5. We added 3 drops of superthrive to one gallon of water and watered our plants with corrected ph water on 12/24. Noticed bigger growth and more new leaves forming next day. No new yellowing or spots seen. Watered again with superthrive on 12/27. We also decided to trim worst of dieing leaves off plant. We just wanted to know if it sounds like we are finally on the right track with our plants. We plan to start feeding with Schultz 5-10-5 fertilizer after a couple of plain ph balanced water now. Despite problems we have continued to see new growth our room does fluctuate in temp and humidity. Usually humidity as low as 30 and as high as 55. Temp will be low of 70 to high of 85. Any other tips or something we should do? I still believe to a certain point there's a deficiency but not sure.

Simple nute burn ...flush with air temperate Ph neutral water, 3 times the volume of the pot, allow to recover in dim light 1x day no nutes for 1-2 weeks or until you see an active recovery, then feed at 50% less increasing 15% at each feed

Much bigger than 4"!! Among many other factors, so don't you pros bust my holy balls too much, if you want big buds, you need big roots. Using a lot of good dirt just makes it easy. That's why I'm a soil man, not hydro.
