what am i doing wrong?

u can see from the pics sumn is wrong...im using 2 27watt 5.5k 1 24 6.5k...organic garden soil...18/6 cycle....jus started to nute 1/4th 2-3 days ago...started 2 get better but it has declined since the first day..any suggestions plz? QUESTION- wats da humidty suppose 2 be between?how do u lower or raise humidty?

Yeah, you definitely want to stay away from nutrients for the first few weeks. Especially if you're using a decent organic soil mix. Seedlings and young plants are ultra-sensitive to any stress at this point. Make sure to keep the lights a little further away than you may expect until they develop a strong root system and let them feed off the nutrients that are in the soil until they display signs of slower growth/deficiencies. Depending on the size of your grow area a humidifier/dehumidifier would be ideal, but keeping a bowl full of water under the lights with a fan blowing for circulation will help raise moisture levels in a cabinet/stealth grow. You'll want to maintain relative humidity in the 40% - 60% range. Good luck!
 
Hey man, you do not have any problem at all. As a young seedling they need some type of nutrients to form an actual stem and grow. Those first two leaves that sprouted from your seed are the two leaves that are dying away because they were already used to give nutrients to your young plant. These leaves will soon die away and fall off your plant which is 100% normal.. Your plant will soon start to grow fan leaves and on her way to a healthy life..

So Im not sure what happened to my first post, im not sure if it got posted or not so here it is again.

As a young seedling your seed develops its first two leaves, and then on continues its growth. These first two leaves are what give your seed the power to grow as a unsprouted seed. After the seed sprouts theses leaves are no longer needed and no longer are able to support food for your plant, therefore die off naturally. This is normal for your plant to do and you should be fine from here on out, but like I said on the second post above. Your plant does not need nutrients for the first few weeks of flowering, and the nutrients is probably what killed your other leaf.
 
I agree no nutes for the first couple of weeks. Are you letting the soil dry out before you water? Seedlings are real sensitive to all of this. Are you doing a cabinet or closet? You need a some what sealed inclosure to really control humidity, and temp. Also you might wanna switch all the bulbs to 6500k bulbs for now, and keep them a little further from the tops than you would if they were vegging. Again seedlings are real sensitive to all of these factors. Also, what's the temp at? Too hot or too cold, plus the lights being too close and giving them nutes already will give you that look that you got.

i didnt give it nutes untill the leaves turned yellow (not the fan leaves)...so dat cant be da problem..da nutes acutally helped it at first..now da ends r turnin up and browning
 
I don't know that soil doesn't look right...did you buy the soil or just take it from the garden? Either way it doesn't look like it has any perlite in it. You need it to allow extra air and allows better drainage. Also like already mentioned you to let the soil dry out between waterings you don't need to keep soil moist when the plant breaks the surface.
 
Your plant looks a little lanky, you should try moving the lights closer since you're rockin' CFLs. You're gonna want them to be about four inches from the foilage. If that doesn't help I'd have to say it looks like you should wait it out a bit (with the lights closer to keep 'em from reachin' for the lights so damn much) and dose them with a low NPK nute, something like 6-4-4.
 
Well you may have just solved your own problem. MG soil can either be very good or very bad, you might have a nute burn in that case then.
 
You should look into organic soil (Not MG because MG is practically a chemical bath) with perlite, transport them to new pots,new soil, flush 'em, and see how things go from there.
 
WIth MG mix it is like a chemical bath for your plant... It has crazy amounts of nutrients that (like stated above) can either be great for your specific strain of marijuana or also very detrimental to your strain.. In your case it seems that the MG mix is probably your problem..

I suggest Fox Farms Ocean Soil.. It is the only soil I use.. And also the nutes for vegetive growth should have a lot of nitrogen.. So I also suggest picking up some Fox Farms Grow Big nutrients..

Change the soil, flush your plants, and stay away from nutes for a week or two to let your plant regain strength and avoid anymore nute burn..

1. Was the soil you bought garden soil or potting soil? It makes a difference.

2. MG has slow release nutes in it, so adding extra nutes is likely what hurt your plant. I'd say 90%+ of the time when someone complains about MG, it's because they don't know how to work with it, overfeed their plants and then blame their mistakes on the soil.

3. It's entirely within the realm of possibility that you just got a bad seed with some genetic problems. Learn from your mistakes and just plant another, no big.
 
Your soil is definitely the problem; in general, avoid using soil mixes that come pre-mixed with nutes. I also use Fox Farm Ocean Forest exclusively. I agree with the others that you shouldn't feed until at least after the first fan leaves appear if you're using a good soil mix.
 
nah budweaver ive used the regular miracle grow with good results. Your right it has slow realease ferts and all but I tried that organic MG last grow and my plants were stunted for a few weeks and I never even fertilized.
