Say it be by water or nutes lying on the buds. Or some pesticide . What actually happens to there output production or better yet bud development if they brown prematurely.

I know they will continue to develop new pistils until ready , but the pre browned pistils will they have an impact on the yeild ?

Any pics? Did you spray them with something, or add something new to your feedings?

Brown pistils is not a bad thing. I have a few strains that do it if they get too much airflow even indirect airflow. Some strains are going to get brown hairs especially on the tops of the colas earlier than the rest of the plant. No worries.

I don't know a whole lot but my Black Indica turned brown hairs at week 3ish. I was worried but they continued to grow new white hairs after a week or so. Turned out great, very impressed with it. With freaking out I researched that stress can do it, even a fan blowing directly on them can change it. Having your shirt rub over them could also cause it. One more thing is if there a hermie in there it could pollinate causing early ripening. If neither of these are your trouble then I would guess new white pistols will continue to grow. Again, I don't know a whole lot. I just freak out and read for hours XD
