what 1k hps bulb for digital ballast?

I have 3 galaxy 1k dimmable ballast and need to replace the bulbs, debating all the ones on the market...What are your thoughts?

Looking hard at Digilux and Hortilux but I have had some major issues with Hortilux in the past.

ushios! german made i think. havent had a problem with them. i use to use eye hortilux as well

I would use these, Good name brand same quality as any other bulb With the price change them out every 4 months and you will be fine.

When i purchase my 1000w ballast pretty soon after that bulb gets old i will stock up on 2 of these, It says 130 lumens but thats not correct its 140 thousand same as the phillips they just under rated it i dont know why thow?

Full of purple thanks for sharing your experience with these, i have been checking them out for some time but always that the price was too good to be true. i am definitely going to give them a try.

yeah, go with the ushios, they work great on digital. i always used hortilux before digital ballasts but they dont work on them.

These cheaper Name brand bulbs are just as good as the Grow bulbs just a different price tag.

Ive ran hortilux,sunmaster,lumatek bulbs

But i get the same yeild from name brand bulbs. sylvania,phillips are the ones ive ran.

I currently have a 400w phillips hps and a 600w sylvania just as good as the hortilux,There even made with the same parts!

And yes they even work with digital ballast i know because i run digitals. Change the bulbs every 4 months and keep them as backups.

I even veg with these bulbs hps bulbs the plants love it.

I run 2 600w lumatek purple digitals on 240v with sylvania hps bulbs and they work fine never had a problem.

I also run a 600w quantumn digital dimmed down to 450w on a 400w phillps bulb,It works fine never had a problem been on for months

What wattage is that?I just Googled it for a 600Watt bulb which are what my ballasts handle but only see them up to 90,000 Lumens...are you using a 1000 watt bulb?
EDIT: OK..I found it..yeh..1000watter..dumb me :dunce:

I "just" wrote this seller asking him that exact question...is this 600 watt HPS Ushio good withe electronic digital ballasts cuz I read in a lot of other places it was..and some that it wasn't..but most that it was...my headz spinnin' at this point....Then there's those that say to use the Sylvania fior about $50..for the 600W...HELPPPPPPPPP...lol..Reckon you can't go wrong with quality but then again I read some dudes Ushio blew in hours but I figure thats a freak...asked the seller if there was a warranty cuz I saw there was on other sites..for whatever their worth..

originally was gonna score this'un but read too many neg things about iPower even though it got decent reviews on Amazon...does half the price mean not as good..who knows???
