input: 120v AC 60hz etc...
output: 12v DC and no less amps than the sum of the amps that are more than likely listed on each fan. If not, then google how many amps each of your fans requires and add 'em up. Make sure whatever adapter you buy is capable of spitting out more amps than that number in case of a power surge. Wire em up in series and hook it up to the adapter. Brand new here, so I imagine there are other ways to do it that are either more efficient or just plain better designed. Mine might not be pretty, but she'll definitely put out.
Use a small PC power supply. Those little power adapters are not made to be a constant supply of power. When overworked, they get hot and live a short life.
I use a old 250w power supply! works great!Have as many fans as you want and has the quick disconnects. Just cut and connect the green wire to one of the black wires beside it. Will act as a jumper so doesn't need to be plugged into a motherboard to start
if you still need to buy the adapter, go to radioshack. Those guys can show you the right one, and tell you whether you should wire your fans in series or parallel

No disrespect Clown baby but I haven't met any knowledgeable peeps at radio shack. Most of em don't know their inventory or what half of it is for, lol Must be different at the one near you.
