Hi guys!
So I have a small, organic, medical grow indoors in soil (KIS Organic) and picked up some clones about 2 mos ago....that looked great from the grower...and popped up w WPM a few hours after getting home and landing under their HO flourescent light :/
I am not a newbie to growing - but am a newbie to indoor cultivation. I never had more than a spot on 2-3 leaves before taking action, so, never an out of hand problem. But certainly a problem! The Bragg cider vinegar worked for 2-5 days. Organic neem w a drop of dish soap worked 3-7 days. Moved these girls to a MH (1000w), added some UV B light and - keeping up w the neem, it worked about 10-14 days before I'd find an affected leaf. Air circulation stays good, and the room has a limited (filtered) outdoor draw - 78-80* and ~50-60% Rh day and night. Temps are pretty stable but Rh does fluctuate a bit with big swings outside...
An old timey buddy told me to mist w alkaline water- and my well is about 8.1 out of the tap. Misting once a day, turning daily (for more even exposure to the uv b light, which is on the back wall above the canopy) - I have seen zero WPM for about 3 weeks with no other treatments (just the alkaline water).
I wanted these ladies to be big- I have room for trees and can legally have just a few mature plants - so why have just a few 1/2-1# plants when I flip into my 1000w hps flower room??
I am so so not wanting to see the WPM pop up in the flower room! My local hydro shop buddy suggested an organic wettable sulphur as a drench since I'm still in veg. I tested on a couple of younger plants and branches - and have had a few funny tips but nothing overly concerning.
I just don't like using anything I don't have to...
If these were your ladies, and you were about to move them and flip- would you hose them down w the sulphur? Keep up w the water, or, something else?
Just so you know we are doing pretty well - and so the nice folks that have been liking my new to RIU posts know I'm not totally full of sh*t lmao
