So i havent been to my outdoor plot in probably two weeks, But they had no signs of sex. I went yesterday and 2 of the males have already broke their pollen sacs and started to preflower. I moved all the males away from my females gentely.
I was wondering if my females have been pollunated already? I got them relatively early considering i wont be harvesting until october. I just hope i dont have some seedy ass herbs this year. Is there a way to tell if they have been pollinated? I've heard the female preflowers turn brown or something. Any opinions gurus?

They only turn "orangeish" after a couple to a few weeks after pollination. If you've had any wind or some bees or insects buzzing around I'm sure you've probably had some sort of pollination. On the up note - I had a female pollinated by a male but it was just a few days and I only got a few seeds, but it was an indoor grow. Good luck though!

it is possible, but unlikely that some pollination did happen - however, it will only effect the parts of the female buds that are there now - the rest will remain seedless..

pollenation results in the swelling of calyx and loss of pistils...ppollen germinates approx 15 after contact with the pistil....seeds mature in approx 14-30 days_

I feel like my plants had some sort of rapid sexing. I think from switching to a nute that has alot more Potassium. I had no testicles 2 weeks ago and when i went back BIG clusters formed at the top. Their still very young, maybe 3ft all of them. Females were barely showing any sex, i even had to use a magnifying glass to check the preflowers. So I was thinking maybe they were too young to be fertalized yet? I wouldnt mind a seed here and there but I dont wants some seedy mid pods of super silver haze. There are a bunch of bees and bugs in the area tho. Wind gets a little heavy as well.

Good thing I kept some females elsewhere away from any males
