What kind of fluorescents?

If you are talking about t-5 s or any other high end fluorescents you should check HYDRO specialty online shops... like planitearth.com

You can also get good cheap CFL lights a HOME DEPOT or WALMART... with CFLs, stick to the largest you can find.. 43 watt or more.

and NOW you KNOWM

I like Lithonia lighting worklight t8 fixture. I modify it by using the stock ballast to overdrive 1 of the lamps, and buy another ballast to overdrive the other. I line the reflector with mylar to increase reflectivity. a 32 watt t8 lamp can be overdriven to 54 watts to put out about 5000 lumens. This modified fixture will deliver close to 5000 lumens per square foot, with a nice reflector, which will grow high light requiring plants, such as roses which I grow. I do not grow pot. Google search "t8 overdriving" for more details.

Mr I Can Do That For Half
I get t8 lights at walmart for under $7 for 2 bulb 4 footers. Id advise against over driving as its not safe and ruins your lights faster

Overdriving is quite safe, has been done for years. You may need to change your tubes every year instead of every 2 to 3 years, although that may not even be the case if you are running flouros primarily 24/7 during veg stage. Flowering takes pretty intense lighting. I will report back periodically if anyone is interested.
