Were Gonna Need A Bigger Boat

Well apparently 18" was too tall to start flowering I have 4' 8" of vertical room to work with, and 10 days into flower my tallest plant is 40" and shortest is 32". I have been told that they should slow their vertical growth and concentrate on bud production, but I was hoping for some expert opinions on that theory, and also if they do not slow their ascent what are my options as far as making them fit.

my plants are 25 days into flowering and vertical growth has slowed down quite a bit. went from one inch a day to half inch every few days.

Stretch all happens first 3 weeks of 12/12 after that they mellow out, if you have to pinch the stem and bend the top over they should recover just fine if done in first 2 weeks of flower.

I grow in a small space as well. Several times I have used twine to tie overly aggressive stretchers down and even out my canopy.
