I would have been more open to begin with. I know really smart kids in college who knew there parents smoked. Maybe have taken them to a couple music festivals where they can see smokers. Of course kids get curious but long as they don't have a reason to turn to drugs they wont. just preach good grades, keep, them busey in sports, and scouts and stuff and you shoudn't have to worry about them untill they're older. tell them at least till they graduate!!! and keep things locked!!! Till your son if he's dumb enough to show his friends and jeopardize the household. he probably needs to not be smoking weed. and maybe be like red foreman!

yeah if i found that some of my relatives where growing weed i would be nice

my bad i entered it before i was finished, i would be nice to them so that i could smoke with them or get some or move in with them

I think if my duagters friends found my shit I would prolly shut down for awhile and wait and see what happens.

Destroy them immediately, or replace with tomatoes or something else - this is better because if the feds come knocking, they won't question why you have all the gardening equipment.

I highly suggest doing it pronto. Take it as a lesson that your grow room should of been locked, or that your stepson is nosy and shouldn't be allowed back into your home. Either way, I don't suggest keeping anything illegal in or around (yard, etc) your home for awhile.

The experience was good, but I doubt it will continue to be if you continue growing. Not just the risk of getting caught, but you'll be living in paranoia. Anytime you hear a cop car nearby, you'll freak. You'll worry that the feds are in your home when you're off to work, etc.. it's not pleasant - happened to me. In hindsight I'd choose to live in peace w/ no grow instead of paranoid 24/7 with a grow that is risking my freedom.

Only option to continue would be to move it... far away. Don't have it anywhere near your home. If the feds come with dogs, your busted. If you know anyone you trust VERY WELL - maybe you can donate the plants to them, but I don't recommend this because I personally wouldn't trust handing my freedom out to anyone.

You can grow again a while from now.. you're experienced and you'll get back to where you stopped in no time, better plants, etc. I suggest growing tomatoes for now and buying dime bags until you feel you can resume growing (at least 6 months to a year IMO).

Oh and tell your stepson that you no longer grow, show him your tomatoes so he stops spreading the word. You risk getting robbed/mugged. People have had break-ins and even been killed because the crooks heard these people are growing a lucrative crop.. don't put your freedom/lives/home at risk. Not worth it.

I can't believe you are moving forward with your grow. I got 6 pages in the read and just stopped. I can't believe everyone is telling you to continue. Is the weed worth it? Come on man this is common sense and we all see it on the tube every week. The stupid stupid shit people do. Look dude you stated this kid live 400 miles away with his step dad who treats him like an adult. So being he was at your house I take it you still love your son and want him in your life. Hench why his is over your house to begin with. Toss everything or put it with a friend. Everyone is worried about the cops comming to your house. Well I would not so much worry about them cause once you get rid of everything it's all cool. But what about child services? They will come to your house and they will inspect your lifestyle. If they have any reason to think you are growing weed, you will never see that kid again until he becomes a man. Sure not a bad thing as that's only 2 years away. But still, getting your name in the paper as a grower who grew with his kids. Is not a good thing. Is the weed worth the stupidity? I laugh so hard at shit like that cause you have been given all the time in the world to keep you an your wife from getting fucked yet you still choose to grow? It's no wonder people say weed makes you stupid. Go buy a head bag for the next few years. Then when it call cools down start a new grow. You will be kicking yourself if you get really busted from child services cause once that happens, the cops will come and get you. Then on your way out to the patrol car you can your wife and try and figure out how you got so stupid that you did not toss everything the moment you had the chance. SHit you even went out an bought a grow box. LOL what you think people are going to think you just left the light on in your tool box? Please use your brain. If you have the opertunity to avoid cops take that gift.

Sorry to hear that, man. Look, take this as an opportunity to take a break and let things roll over before setting up shop again. Family safety should take from burner, this can wait.

When it all comes down to it, it doesnt matter what anyone will tell him...He will make a decision based up his judgement. Do what you want bro, but i think you have done a pretty good job of covering it up. Next time, grow in a room that can be locked, is my only advice...

the old man let it finish,he left nothing but bottom buds for the kids to come steal,when he took his first toke he found he floated for the whole day and into the night,he had the thc tested at a lab and it was 29% thc,some breeders in holland paid him a million dollars to reveg the bottom buds to clone his super weed,so it was a happy ending after all.im not sure when the strain will be available in seed form,but i here the old man gets a lifes supply.

nah man, do this.1) move ALL your grow stuff and plants out of there. 2) have your stepson bring the same kids back to check it out again.3) when they see that nothing is there anymore, they might think its just gone.4) bring all the shit back, and get a lock for the damn door(bedroom) i was in a very similar situation...u just have to disinform them.
