so i went to the club two days ago and bought two purple kush clones. i went home put them into a soil less grow medium i picked up called fyto-cell. i watered them with distilled water and 1/8 the nutes recommened. i did this because theres no nutrients in the medium. the first day of them growing they did great grew an inch nd more leaves. the 2nd day i thought i would get my fan and cut a hole in my grow room to turn it into an exhaust fan. (im low on money) so everything was good when i left i made sure the lights werent too hot and my room temp was fine. i came back about 12 hrs later and they both suffered from light burn! so now one has bounced back and stayed very upright and stiff with minimal leave damage but the other is really hurting. the lights i had in there were 14watt 6500k cfl lights (3 of them). there were about 3 inches from the plants. i would like to know if this has happened to anyone and also if the plant is just in shock and will come out? any help is parreciated thanks. oh i went and changed out the lights to my led glow panel i got for vegy. heres the pics.

That doesnt look like heat to me, especially from 3 14w lights 3 inchs away. Ive had them grow into my 42w cfls and they only burn the tips brown. Your plants look like they need water. Ive never used fytocell , im guessing it needs to be watered like hydro. Are you watering 3-4 times a day?

the guy at the hydro store said it holds water well. and i dont think its water just because i soaked both of the mediums the same and one is still standing good and the other is drooping. o i just watered the plant i just posted this morning. no signs of improvement yet....

The clones came in in rockwool?

its in the fyto-cell now?

if so:
When you watered, did you wind up watering the rockwool too?
Its probably over watered. RW holds water too well too long.
(but wait for more responses)

Search for a few of Al B. Fuct posts. he uses the fyto-cell. His last great thread was:

He got busy and now is gone from the forum, but there us a wealth of info in his posts.

damn u can get clones that cheap but ne way i dnt thin u sapose yo give them nutes this soon

Its not a seedling, its a clone. It was cut from a plant. It was using stored 'food' while trying to root. But still need to go easy on the nutes, tender roots.

looks to be more water no nutes to young also you could spray it a couple times aday to just give it a extra kick
also whats the temp and hum in the room

if you get some cash you can try superthrive its stuff that you see in the movies that they pour in the ground and makes zombies lol

haha ya 15! and alright ill do that. this is the first time i have had this problem. my temperature in the room is anywhere from 74-68 usually 72. i am not sure of the humidity i need to get one of those asap. but i live in northern cal. so its not very humid at all here. and its not very humid in there. ut cnt make an exact estimate. i guess i jus need to wait it out and see if they bounce back. o the ph is fine its at 6.8

definitly drooping like my plant did when underwatered. You may have damaged some root when transplanting. try folia feeding 3-4 times a day

Wait. Get the temps up a bit. mid 80's (will help to evap some water, again *if* too wet) Its not a 'plant' just yet.
And a 6.8 pH for a soiless seems rather high to me. Most hydro is in the 5.5-6.0 range if I remember right. (I run 5.8 on a veggie, yes, tomatoes, peppers type veggies with an ebb&flow)

so i couldn't help it. i took the clones out and took out half of the fyto cell out as well. replaced it with new fyto-cell and watered it firmly to get lot of the nutes out. now the clone are in the new fyto-cell that i watered with ditsilled water. so now its on them. im shootin myself in the foot for what i did. DAMNIT

i would raise the temps but i cant. i am a low budget grower and its not in a place where i can completely control temps. i can get it up to bout 75 but thats it. o its not a real hydro grow. they r in buckets with a catch tray underneath. just using a hydro medium

Thats still hydro/soiless. rules apply.

so just checked on them. and they both are just drooping like crazy! they both look like the picture that i posted. wtf is goin on?! i know im new to this new medium but ive never had plants that have done this to me before. it looks like there is no sign of life in them. i don understand.
