wanted to see who waters with this system on there house ?

i use this system and then through a charcoal filter under the sink.

what are the pros and cons of this ?

i dont use a ppm/tds meter and just ph my water with test strips....i could have really used that pen.....

question : should i water before the softener coming from the well ? ( straight well water )

i am growing in soil and thought i would ask. i dont see any trouble but was curious to get more info from those that know better.......:peace:

that is more than fine. but if your worried, but a good ph tester. otherwise, all people water is diff.

i have a r/o system on the way from a friend. this is just a little system that was under his sink that may hold 2 gallons, im sure this could help.

i have read else where that the softener was bad for the plants ( salt )...?

there has to be someone that would have some info on this ?

not every one waters with city water..........and im sure others are interested in knowing so....:peace:

for me i have a 40000 grain softner for the well water

this drops the calcum and lime out,

so my loop is heavy duty filter , softner then it goes to my RO filter them ne or my plants the less ppm the better

if the RO system works like mine

this is a 200 gallon a day unit

it takes 556 ppm in and gives me 009 ppm out ( mike 009 ppm means no salt)
softened water without RO does have higher levels of salt. and will likely lock you up or out

Do not use softened water for plants. Ph the well water after letting it sit for 24 hours until you get your ro system. VV

the tds wont be to high from the well ? and the r/o will be hooked up in the garage in with the washing machine line after the softener. should this help?
