So far these two girls have been in 1 litre pots of coco for a few months and kept small till I was ready to start them in the buckets and train them out for scrogging. Super cropping and topping where needed.

Roughly two weeks vegging in the buckets with a single 50 watt cob per plant. Now in holding for another week till the flower cab is empty.

I will update this grow diary once a week.
It will mainly be photo based since they can do the talking.

I will include any relevant information that I feel is needed and answer any questions honestly. Feel free to comment, I'm open to any advise you can provide, it's a never ending learning curve.

Pictures and update to follow today at some point.

Below pictures are of Ocean Grown - Dark Plasma (DP1) currently in training for the scrog. Dark Plasma (DP2) will be setup the same and introduced into the flower cab in about a week.

The scrog support size is 26"X23" square and will be using 8cmX7.5cm sections for bud sites. I'm doing this a little different this time around, rather than have tops from every single nod which is just mayhem. I have decided to nip out all nodes that I do not want, this should address any problems for airflow and light. Tops at present are about 5 inches tall and I would expect them to top out at the end of stretch at about 15inches. I would rather have less buds but better buds, I really don't care about harvest weights etc so this is how im rolling this one to see how it works out.

As can be seen in the images I have had a nutrient problem which has led to some serious looking purple stems, problem has now been addressed and will give this girl a few more days to perk up some before I flip the lights to flower.
That's it for the first update of this diary, I will update every week from now till chop time.

Feel free to tag along and fire some pointers at me if you see something ain't right.
I always appreciate any appropriate advise.
Best of all keep it real folks.

Little update, better late than never.
So the girls got switched to 12/12 two weeks ago. (4th June 2018)
Now there may well be a problem later down the road of hermies and I may have to bin the lot. I put a new extension power socket in the cab for some extra fans to connect to, and well I forgot to tape of the bloody red power light. So it was on for the full two weeks.
Other than that the two plants have just been given their feeds and left to it. I may well do some selective defoliation of the larger fan leaves half way down each top in a weeks time if I feel it's needed, zip ties etc will be snipped of also as the plants do not require them anymore, and hopefully they can support the weight of their buds later on as the scrog panels are self supporting.
So that's that all feed details etc are in the first post as I don't want to repeat the same thing week in week out, it's what they get and that's it.
Some pics below all taken today. (19th June 2018)

Fingers crossed they didn't take offence to the extension socket! I had that happen to me once and It wasn't pleasant.

Looking good man, nice stacking!

@coreywebster hope all is well with you. Did your extension light cause your grow to herm, and if so how long had the light been on and also how long to notice if they hermied.
Im very well thanks matey.

Yes unfortunately it did cause herms on a strain I had grown for a few years without issues. The worst thing was at that time I ran a perpetual set up with 3 crops in the same tent. The batch close to harvest threw some nanners, the batch a few weeks behind developed a lot of seeds and the youngest batch was seeded very early so was destroyed pre half way.

I didn't notice because it was the plant closest to the extension that was in the back corner of the tent which had nanners all over the back side, there were some elsewhere too. Plus I had at the time changed to autopots which allowed me to be lazy and not get up close like I would of previously. I stopped using autopots after that. Truth is I really should of noticed far far sooner.

The extension had been in there after I had added a few extra small fans under the canopy, so I swapped out a 4 way for a 6 way extension, it was in there over a month, I know that because I had place the fans when I put the middle batch in.

Hopefully a couple of weeks wont make an issue and im sure plenty of strains would survive such an error. Mine were fairly close to the end of flower and I think that played a part in it. >:(

A photo of DP1 before I get the snips out to do some defoliation over the weekend, DP2 will get the same treatment. Will post a few pics of them once complete.
Both plants are now on 50/50 grow and bloom for the next 7-10 days.

Cookie crosses can be prone to nanners so worth while to keep a look out but in my experience those little red LEDs on a power board do not cause too many problems, they are not bright enough. Unless yours is different?

Great looking plants you got there!

just took this image a few minutes ago, im in process of figuring out if I can get two levels in the cab for scrogging hence the old burple vipar led with a couple a cree 3070's strapped on. Been running them all day with doors closed max temp was 27c at both canopy levels and the bedroom is 32c+
Looks like it will certainly be a viable plan, now to decide if I add more QB boards or Strips, which ever gives a more even spread. Im favouring the idea of strips top and bottom and max power of 500watts or less at the wall. Gives me more more square ft than I used in my 1.2x1.2 tent.
