Looks to me like it went back into Veg. I have intentionaly done this is the past. Did your lights get mixed up or have light leak?

It is possible When I had spider mites, I turned the light on for about 10 seconds about a week and a half ago but that was it. Will that new growth keep going up>? Should I cut it off?

Way too much nitrogen in my opinion. Chances are you might have goofed on the light schedule as well. That is some crazy bolting.

Please turn your lights off to take a pic....we could tell a lot more without the interference lines.....

With out a doubt I would say she reveged due to lights being on past 12/12. Solution would be stay 12/12 and no N. Harvest as soon as possible.

Only a few colas have this growth on them, so does that mean those colas will be less potent? SHould I cut the new growth off?

Is the cola not just bolting? At the seventh week of flowering i wouldn't think the plant would want to re-veg but who knows. Is there any bud or new flowers on the new growth? even if it is just a little bit? Are all the plants that are doing this in the same particular spot or spread out and interspearsed with other plants that do not exhibit this weirdness? Need clearer pics and more details but i'd hope it is just the plant bolting due to stress and not it re-vegging as that could be the worst of the two.

It seems spread out, some plants have it on one cola, some have it on more then one cola and most others dont have the bolting. I read on another forum to pinch the new growth and that would stop it. Also Some of the bolting looks as if it will have pistils coming out of the tips but that could be leaves as well, should I just pinch/clip most of em and maybe leave one alone just to see what happens in the next few weeks?

If pistils come out of the new growth then it can't be reverting back to veg and probably be sure that the plant is just bolting for some reason, maybe heat or maybe somthing else. Anyone else got any opinion on this and can we get some clearer pics.

I hate to say it but your right, they started vegging on me, not all of em but some of em, how screwed am I at this point? What can I do now?

How at week seven of flowering can plants re-veg if light cycle has been maintained with just one minor mishap? This seems strange and need someone to give me the reason why re-veg could happen in this situation?

Okay this new growth first appeared at wk 5.5-6wks but I thought nothing of it, I thought the cola was going to get thicker, my mistake. So now should I just clip off all the mutated bud and let it flower for another 7-8weeks? Harvest all the othyer good bud and let the mutants flower?

Bringing up an old thread. But my plant looks exactly like the pictures on page one. Anyone has any good proof of what it is? I guess not re-veg cause it has pistils on this new growth...but not much bud forming on top cola at all. All other buds are doing great on same plant...week 7 of flower...

Here is the pic. Two plants in one closet. One is ok with main cola, other is not. Same strain (royal haze), same nutes (coco A+B and P&K), same light scheduel 12/12. Week 7 of flowering. One thing though - the weird looking plant got burned pretty bad by the light when 3 weeks in flowering-half of the new forming bud was crisp brown...
