Weird looking bud

This plant was a triploid so I decided to top it. It now has a very strange looking bud on one of the three colas. The stem is a retangular shape not circular. I know it almost looks photoshoped but I can get more pics.

Just that one bud looks weird the other two are normal. This cola had a surge of leaf growth. I counted like 30 leaves in 2.5 inches.

i guess its so oddly shaped because of the shape of the cola.

thats wierd cuzz my square buds have a plethora of leaf growth around the bud

Not sure if these pics will show. But I had the same thing going on. The bud matured way before the rest of the plant.
