weird bud development only on a few plants

Hello all.
I have about 44 gelato 33 plants growing in my RDWC system and about 5 of plants buds look weird, like yellowish burned looking with almost no white pistils.
I was hoping someone might help guide me in the right direction to what might be the issue.
These 5 plants are spread around my entire grow room aka 2 totally different rdwc systems.
the rest of the plants look amazing in my opinion and are doing great, just these 5 are weird. Below are some photos of them and 1 of the plant that is doing ok right next to it.
any help is appreciated.

could it be light stress? these are gelato 33 and i got the feeling they dont like too much light. Also i did notice the ph started to drop on one of my systems that is showing this issue so i gave it ph up and brought it up to 5.7 then today after some defoliation the ph went up to 6 by itself.
My meter was crap, my 6.4 and 5.4 waterings were actually 2.4 and 3.4 ph meters cant be trusted, same issues will happen but slower if not corrected

Try it once and see if it helps
my system is a recirculating deep water culture , so i dont technically water them, well they eat and drink whenever they want lol. I can however manually increase or decrease the ph. I did lower the light a bit on the side of my grow room that has most of these issues, if it does not correct soon i will increase the ph to 6.4 and see wht happens.

I like to set the ph to 5.8 (or piss yellow or light orange if using drops) and left it drift up during the week. That will allow better availability of the full NPK and micros. Also you might check another meter. I hate ph meters. I had burnt through a few hannas over the years and had one unit that had a issue....caused me to have problems for a yr before I figured out my meter was giving me values that were off.

Ph drops are the way to go if you have the time..

So after a few days of my lights being lowered it looks like new white pistils are growing on the most of the bad plants, not sure if it was the light but i have a feeling it was. Now im having ph dropping issues and plants not eating, gonna see how i can deal with this. did a water change on 5-30 and adjusted ph to 5.9 , next day same 5.9 but day after it dropped down to 5.6 so i gave it some ph up and today its down to 5.6 again and ppm is not dropping.

If you chase ph that close you will chase it constantly
I try to avoid ever using ph up
That is where the chase begins

im not a stickler for keeping my ph at exactly 5.8 or whatever but normally ( i have been growing with rdwc 2 different systems 44 buckets in total ) and if all is well in your system ph tends to swing up not down, down usually indicates some root pathogen issue. I am using hydroguard and checking on my roots frequently, they seem ok ,not crystal white like i would want them to be but i dont see root rot, now it could be that i have something going on around the root ball area but cant really see.

interestingly both of my reservoirs this time dropped to 5.6ph and held there and stopped dropping , i gave them a bit of ph up to bring it to 5.7 and left it , one of the systems is now up to 5.9 on its own and the other is holding at 5.7.
