My friends plant has this weird brown spot at the bottom.. he was feeding 3-4-6 until I told him 20-20-20 would be better for veg(amirite?) With ph varying from 5 to 7 which is unbalanced for the plant & could possibly be the reason for the brown ish?
Any ideas what this is??
Thanks!

Theres many way to treat it, if it's not too late for her. Start with increasing air circulation by taking those domes off the plant bases, if that's what your doing.

No domes I think he is starting off some other herbs under those. How else can he fix this besides air circulation

This type of rot thrives in warm unoxygenated, stagnant water. Fix how this is happening, and starve it of light to grow and let it dry out. Clean the area so the bacteria doesn't spread. You shouldn't need to buy a bunch of chemicals to fix this easy-to-solve problem. It looks like the water is getting to the upper media because the net cups are too thin, or media is not packed right in the net cup. Change the direction of the spray heads in the aero system so they're not spraying up through the net cups.

boron or sulfur deficiency use one scoop of epson salt in a gal of water. U

he has choices between 3-4-6, 25-10-10 or 20-20-20
which one do you recommend for veg and which one do u recommend for flower
u don t think this is stem rot? two of the plants tore off at the base when he moved the set up lol
boron and sulfur. Deficiency also makes the stem get rotten i mean it can be also. But hard to tell for lack. Of info

Every strain likes different strengths in every garden. Trial and error.
in veg every strain will like what i told him if hungry of course starting at 1\4 strength . its not that you gonna feed with veg nuts just for the hell of it, u need to wait until she tells u . i have a 60 days old vegetation. Plant doing great with no nutes so far

How could that be tho?! Without nutes is impressive.. i always have them die super young if i dont feed em properly
my soil its organic plus i have a couple things mixed up in there, i just been watering every 7 days or so with plain water and molasses thats it. If ur soil have some nutrients on it u can do it to but if she starts telling u shes hungry then feed at the lower dose possible if not half of the recomended starting dose, this is actually the first plant that i go this far with out nutrients good luck
