Weird brown patches

One of my plants started to show a brown patch yesterday. Today its spread to one of the other leaves and the spot is bigger and the leaf is curling a little. Anyone know what could be causing this? Ive been using a half strength nute mix with an npk of 35-15-55.

Hi never,

when the browning starts on the tips it is usually a nutrient burn.. but that looks like it could be some sort of other deficiency... the rest of the plant looks pretty good...

are you pH ing your water?

what size is your container?

Yea the rest of the plant is fine. The pH of the soil and water are 6.5-6.8. The browning started with the spot in the middle of the leaf. Then the next day on the tip of another. The pots are about 3 litres. My other plant is fine.

Ok. So now the brown spot has gone golden orange and is really dry. And the patch on the other leaf is getting bigger. Does anyone else have any idea?s

Im taking a guess. I cant measure it now cos the lights are off. Ill let you know the right measurement tomorrow

could you have splashed something on them? sometimes even water on leaves during lights on can cause burns.

never... once a leaf turns brown it will never turn green again...

how is the rest of the plant doing?

Is the plant root bound?

cheers

The rest of the plant is perfect. I think it may be root bound. Im about to change it to a bigger pot in the next couple of days.

cool never... sounds like it should be fine.. It is not uncommon for even the healthiest of plants to have a spot or 2 or 10..

love
