Well, they look fine to me. Nice and healthy, good bud development, and they seem to have recovered from their various problems, so youve done well for them in the end. But yes they are quite top heavy.
Maybe next time, pinch them out more when their veging and either bend the primary tops over or "Supercrop" the top buds (pinch the stems between your fingers to crush them a bit) to slow them down a little, which allow the secondry buds to catch up a bit. Creating a flat "Sea" ov buds, directly under the light.
I dont know how long you Veged your plants for, but maybe do it for longer next time (twice as much even) to allow the main Trunk to really fatten up before letting the plant flower.
And yes, Hold back with the Secateurs as they look only about half ready to me, so maybe another 4 or 5 weeks til the big chop.

hi there seana, thanks for your input will they gain much more size in the weeks to come? i only have 3 plants i was hopeing 2oz per plant do you think with 4 more weeks to go i can get my goal? i did top 2 of them but 1 i did not and thats the 1 that has shoot off! they only had 4 weeks veg in all as i didnt want huge plants!! thanks again x
