Weed is in your bible!!

What is all the fuss about? If we are truly "One nation under God," then how can we rationally outlaw plants He put here and substitute them with pills? Are we wiser than the Creator of the universe? In the bible, Genesis chapter 1 verse 11 God commanded the Earth to produce these herbs yielding seed, and in verse 12 the Earth obeyed. In the same chapter in verses 29 thru 31 God included the herb bearing seed in the first diet given to mankind. God made it a point to say "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth..." KJV The key words in this passage being every and all. Since God put these plants here, are we wise to kill them with herbicide or should we research them to find out their proper uses? I am currently researching for a book on this matter with the foundation for a pro-marijuana stance taken directly from the Holy Bible. We are truly in a war with the pharmaceutical industry and the FDA but since God is on our side the victory is ours! Smoke Something!!!

If the bible were real maybe!

Thanks for saying what I've always believed. The bible is the word of God and God put everything here on this earth for our use.

nice, I've been wondering if weed was "wrong" as far as the bible goes. Finally a clear, backed-up answer

that's what i've been thinking for a long time. how can the government tell us it's bad to be able to use a natural plant. i think that there is a need for a government but there are some laws we have to resist.

Nice eye.... I've been living by these verses since I read them a few years ago.. when I tell people its in the bible some believe me but some try to roll their eyes like I'm just trying to get them to smoke or something...

Marijuana is one of the only "drugs" out there that hasn't killed hundreds of thousands of people. Is it that hard to believe god put it here for us to enjoy.

Just another point to prove how evil and hell bound our govt is..

What plant or herb doesn't bear seed? This is just another way of reading into what they want to hear. This like millions of passages can be interpreted anyway the individual wants to and then shove down the lemmings throats. The only way I find weed in a bible is when I hid it there and forgot about it, like should be done with the bible.

What? I think you're trying to make an argument or something but I don't get it...every plant or herb bears seed I think its basically saying any "plant or herb" is fine to use and isn't a sin becuase it was created by god himself unlike some chemical substances. reading into what "they" want to hear? I can only see that applying with masturbation but yeah your points are pretty shitty. No offense if you're an atheist just stating my opinion. But yeah I don't really know how to draw the line on what drugs are a sin and whats not...idk I should probably read the bible for once lol.

No doubt about it, it was put on our planet for a reason, to smoke.

Ok, to the ones who want to put down Christianity, what has the Christian faith ever done to you? Why do you hate the Christian faith? Does someone having the faith in Chrisitianity, believing in a higher power, and believing that there every action could effect there chances of going to heaven make your life worse? A true Christian only wants for you what they have, a sense of peace. It is in your best intrest as well as any one who wants marijuana to be legal to appeal to the Christian community. They have been affected by what the government has told them and because the government said it was bad they agree. I can't bring up the verse or what book it is in the Bible, but I do know it says to obey the law of the land. Unfortunately our land, mine any way, has said marijuana is illegal and probably most devout Christians won't touch it for this very reason. I believe God has put this plant on our earth for a reason and it does have many many uses other than recreational purposes. WWgrower I just want you to know that I love you and Jesus loves you, even if you don't believe in him.
