Payment processing, Google Ads, paying retail costs to mail out review samples, packaging, all adds up extremely quick.

The actual website itself is fairy cheap if you just want a simple wordpress theme, it's having a site that is actually generating revenue and moving product that takes an investment.

Yah Jan 31 is he last day was hoping to be done now but had some set backs so kinda pushed my go go go levels not meh. Wanted to throw a rave in the warehouse on Jan 22 but can't get it organized in time lol

I returned some stock for credit and pay off some stuff I owed to suppliers for last 45 days. I managed to blow out a chunk as cost but there's still lots left. I had about 70K in stock.

Like I posted before, pre COVID anything I put up on FB or CL sold in days into 2020 barely any inquiries about stuff I posted.

I just give away weed by the oz who can possibly smoke 4 plants every 4 months. All my friends have so much weed i cant even give anything but samplers to them anymore. So all those people arent buying legal weed who used too. Deff dont understand whos buying weed anymore i never even see any cars at pot shops and i have 4 withing 2 blocks.

The duffusse's opening the legal stores are so stupid they don't even know they are failing....apparently. Some of them are rushing to open more as fast as they can. Yet like you say.....where are the customers. I see the same thing...no cars as I drive by.....and I laughed and laughed and laughed.

I've lived in Oz for about a year 20 years ago and it was expensive even then. I bought the "bottom of the barrel cigs" to save money, they are awful, you can't even buy such low end trash here.

On the other hand, it's a good thing that cigs are so expensive and I fully support it. Smoking is terrible and it should be as difficult as possible (no irony here).

Same...I switched to vaping and it costs me about $5 a week. There's also the added benefit of looking like a douchebag.

Health skyrocketed soon after. Unbelievably I went to the hospital two months later and got a chest x-ray and some testing done after myocarditis and they sprouted the "it's lucky you aren't a smoker, you have good lungs. If you were smoking you wouldn't have had the oxygen capacity to overcome heart failure without a ventilator".

Seriously, that is the least of my concerns. I've vaped as well but then for some reason dropped it (it wasn't the douchebag reason). I guess I should take it up again.

The best way is to simply neither smoke nor vape. But better vape than smoke for sure.

I'm a very impulsive addiction smoker. When there are no smokers around (e.g. I visit my mom who does not smoke), I can actually stay away from tobacco entirely. Not so with enablers in the vicinity (i.e. other smokers). It's crazy. And I don't blame the enablers, it's my own sad weakness.

Wife and I are committed to quitting smoking any day now. For real this time as it looks like she may have congestive heart failure. We have to drive 2 hours to the city on Friday to get her a couple of scans. Can't believe her new doctor got her in so fast with all the Covidiots plugging up the hospitals. I wanted to pick up some stuff at the hydro store there and hit Costco and as she gets paid for the travel it pays for the gas and even buys lunch. :)

Both our lungs are shot so quitting is the only way to extend out golden years and she has a few yet to get there. I'm living the life of Riley on the OAP! :D

Here's the thing about out medical system, for all its issues if someone needs real medical help they get it fast. My ex had possible cancerous tissue some months back, they had her in for cat scan/testing in days. A few years back my back went out ( i have a herniated disk) it was pretty painful and I had a MRI appointment in days.

On the other hand stuff that is no serious/life threatening like my food took two years to get to a specialist.

As for COVID victims that were un vaxxed just give them they own ward and just dump out the meds they want and let them cure themselves and leave the rest of the hospital to do their jobs. lol

The problem is that would basically mean "let them die". The doctors can't do that. So you have to put them in ICU.

In Germany we have the problem that so many hospital staff (ICU nurses especially) are badly overworked, and many have quit. Pay is awful as well. So now, there are a lot of ICU units not being staffed, and if/when COVID goes really bad, the system is overloaded.

We have the same thing here and in Alberta the right-wing gov't tore up the doctor's contract and cut back nurses wages just a few months into the pandemic so the two docs my wife and I used have left for greener pastures. One was the doc that has been renewing my pot medical every year so I need to find another that will do it for both of us.

Hopefully they are right that Omicron is helping get everyone some immunity without killing as many. The unvaxxed seem to be the only ones dying now tho lots of us fully vaxxed with boosters are still getting sick tho not badly. Wife and I both had our boosters a couple weeks ago. All 3 Moderna and neither of us has caught Covid . . . yet.

It is impossible to predict what will happen, new variants can appear. We'll have to wait and see.
The flu also mutates every year, and people at risk have to get re-vaxxed, so maybe that will be true for COVID as well.

The population at large will probably have a good immunization eventually, since we all come in contact with the virus sooner or later.

I think it's prudent to get fully vaccinated, especially for seniors, I just don't understand why anybody would take risks since the vaccines are so safe and work really well.

While it's true that you can still "get it" even if vaccinated, the risk of getting seriously ill is way, way lower than without any protection. I'm personally statistically not very much at risk, but still I'd rather have a mild condition than going through hell for 1-2 weeks and then maybe through Long COVID for another few months...
