Weakling

So this is my first grow. I planted four seeds, they all sprout, one starts to wither up. It stayed laying in the soil for a couple days and then it stood up again. But now it just looks deformed and shows no signs of any growth. The other three look amazing. Very fast growth. Any ideas what could of went wrong? Besides i got a retarded seed. Here's the pics, taken yesterday (6th day after sprouting).

Looks GREAT and normal.. except for the last picture.. there is NO plant.. LOL...

Your plant should have about 4 nodes around 14-16 days of growth..

in the future you should always mix perlite into your soil.. It will prevent overwatering and provide oxygen for you babies...

yeah. pull the weak one. you don't want to clone that.

Stems are beginning to look weak (at least on the 3rd one). Do you have a fan blowing on them?

as mogie said, they start to look weak, stems are thin... so get a fan u in there if you don't have already and as move the lights a bit closer in if the are cfls, if it is a MH keep it at some distance, if those lights are cfl's or floros move them down, approximately about an inch above the tips of the plants, okay? so you prevent stretching them, so they stay short and nice and won't grow over your head nor will their little stems break under the weight of the leaves

right mogie, nothing worse like those guessing games trying to figure out what the guy is fussing about

well you might not be so quick to pull it out as i let my weaker looking plant grow , it took about 2 weeks longer to fully flower but yielded the most

yeh keep him in. nothin to lose. about perlite... mix in 25-30% with the soil medium AND put an inch or two layer on bottom (in 3 gal pots)? or just mix in with soil...

I do have a fan, turning it on ASAP. THey're under a 400w MH hung about 1 1/2ft from plants. This is the soil I'm using. I think it has perlite just not enough. How much should I add in, I don't want to take them out of the pots.

Also, I am planning on putting them 18/6 tomorrow, is this ok or r they still too young?
