waterlogged rockwool

Hi,I've just started my DWC grow but because it's my first time i put the net pots in the water instead of just above the waterline.The plant has grown about 2 inches and the first two leaves but the rockwool is waterlogged and it's stopped growing i think the roots are drowning.Can you tell me how to dry the rockwool with the seedling still in it? Thanks

won't that damage the little seedling?

Unless you are mixing your own absorbent/repellent rockwool cocktail, there is no need to worry about rockwool getting "waterlogged". Leave it alone and let it recover.
