Im no expert by no means but it depends on the size of pot. I its a five gallon bucket then I let the top couple of inches get dry and then I usually put a little less than a half a gallon. Like I said Im no expert but that always has worked for me. (lots of healthy plants).

But your gonna get a million differnt answers so noone will know better than you. Just watch your plants and they will tell you (droopy not enough, yellow too much).lol

you will get tons of opinions on this subject . i do a 24 hour cycle . only add enough water so the top 3 inches will dry out in 24 hours . and it is about 1 liter of water for a 3 gal pot . but thats just my opinion .

thanks but I am only in 1 gallon pots for now
Like I said before I am no expert and there is a whole lot of people here that know a hell of alot more than me, but I have been growing for alot of years and I am pretty sure that if you have plants that are 3 weeks old they shouldn't be in 1 gallon pots they should be in a 3.5 gallon pot atleast. :peace:

........a 3 week plant would be ok in a party cup, it is fine in a 1 gallon.....Follow DaBongs advice first....if you find it is taking too long for your medium to "dry" go with a bit less water

If your plants are small enough to be in a party cup at 3 weeks then your doing something wrong. Mine are always to big for a party cup after a week and a half, but I'm not trying to step on any toes thats just my opinion. :peace: At week 4 they should be atleast 10" to 12" tall.

But DJ is right, Dabong did give the best advice.
