Watering?

! day ago i plamted my germinated seed. IM keeping my 26watt floresent light above the pot by 2-3 inches. My questions are when should i water it and how much? and HOw many days before i see a sign of the plant?

Yea ive seen and it came above the surface today. Its lookin pretty good.

Get the flouro' real close, max an inch away. Use this till you get a bigger light. If you don't your plant will stretch and fall over. Also get a fan blowing a gentle breeze on the stem.

recommend a cheap light sir thast good?

If you only want one light I'd rec' a 600w HPS. Can't give you a price, unless you're from England.

I only have one plant and thast all i intend. I dont want the electric bill to go up cause im only 14 and ill get caught. I was thinkin a 250w HPS? or somthin lower?

sorry mogie but is that what you are trying to tell them,i have read it ,and it is worth the time,as a lot of info is out there,if folk will bother looking,lots of good stuff on this site,i keep learning everyday,and i am no young sprout.

Wow Blackout calm down. The Article which i have read talks about lighting but only in the HID department. He doesnt want the electric bill to go up so he will need something in the CFL area (although i am answering, it is not because i condone his age being on the forum. I personally think his type should be banned although he is acting more mature than the usuals).

Neither did i mean to offend. Just saying that we here havent had the best luck with people under 18. And yes if you could find one a 150W HPS would work.

Don't water again until you see a spout. 2-3 days if your temperature is average.

sorry man i was not freaked out ,it is i have a weird sense of humour,i did not mean to put anyone down,if they want to grow good on them,so if it sounded like i was pissed, iwas only having a laugh as mogie always puts in similar type posts,so he is a man who knows his stuff ,but i meant to have a bit of a laugh with him,so sorry if i offended anyone it was not my intention at all,even my aussie mates think i am crazy ,but in a nice way??.
