Watering with lights on or off?

Thats where I'm going wrong, I water in the dark and my grow room floor always ends up sopping wet and I poke my eye on the reflector hood!
So, is it preferable to water, say, half hour before your lights are due to go out or half hour after they've come on??
Really doesn't matter but optimum is right after the lights come on.

So I guess it's a personal thing then depending when your lights go on/off and when you're there....?
i think of it this way if ive been in the sun all day i want a drink
but i think its mainly down to when they are there to do it
a few of my mates some do it as the come on and some water it part way trough the light period

Just a copy and paste for you noobs
"you should water right as the lights are coming on basically. watering before lights off will increase the possibility of mold, mildew, and humidity issues. plus, plants drink the majority of their water when the lights are on so why not give them those freshly mixed nutes and let them drink up for 12 hours." -scoobydoobydoo

I usually do mine right at lights on, even though it sometimes means I have to lose a few minutes here or there because she's in the bathtub draining.

umm no its not.. its your CHOICE.. but its a FACT that they need the water and nutrients while the light is ON more then when in the complete fucking dark....

you should get some kind of tray so you dont have to keep moving them into the bathroom.. you could just empty the trap into a bucket..
oh wow look out I said the f word haha.. were adults here.. no children around so I can swear if I feel like it.. no need to make a big deal of it.
