Hello guys and thanks for looking in,
I'm after some advice on my sprinkler interval times on my hydro set.
Let me explain what i have first,
My plant are suspended in 4 inch net pots and the roots grow through the net pots and can be one foot before they reach the bottom of the tank. I have sprinklers in the tank (4) which feed the plants and sprinkle just hitting the bottom half of the net pots and the rockwool etc.
I hope this makes sense.
Right now my question is i run these sprinklers in veg time constantly with the light times. Now this has always worked fine and i hear myself saying if it ain't broken then it don't need fixing.....
But if they are running constantly then the rockwool can get very saturated and the roots are constantly wet. I would like to reduce the watering time to allow the rockwool to maybe not get so saturated and also the roots. how quick do they dry out is maybe a good first question here....?
This same rule will also apply when i flower because i use the same principle and tank set up.
I feel like i am over watering and if i adjust this down a bit should get better growth and one got any opinion or advice on this...''
