Watering requirements will depend on a lot of factors. Type of medium, size of plant, root mass, lighting, relative humidity, and temp.
Medium is 80%FFOF, 3 handfuls of Perlite, and 20% topsoil. Babys are a month old and the temps 87 to 91 degrees Humidity in low 60's with co2 and steady air movment.

That sounds about right. I use FFOF with no other amendments and I have to water about every 4-5 days.

Everyone does it differently but I water when the pots start to feel light. Then I water until I see runoff. I usually let the pots sit in the runoff for about an hour to make sure there are no dry pockets in the soil. Soaking the pot until you get runoff helps prevent salt buildup from fertilizer. You gotta make sure the water doesn't just run down the inside of the pot, so I water slowly at first in order to get the top of the soil moist so water will absorb into it instead of down the inside of the pot.
