Watering question

I water everyother day. Usually around late afternoon, by then, some of the strains are droopy, I water they spruce back up. Question is should I be watering everyday or earlier in the day instead of late afternoon, the soil stays realtivley moist for about 36hrs Im guessing,

I would water at lights on. The dark and water can propagate trouble.

It's always best to water your plants when the top soil is dry. This depends of course on the plant's rate of growth and the size of the pot.

It's best to at the beginning of lights on, so the plant has a chance to use the nutes and water in its photosynthetic processes.
