Watering for Seedlings

So I've read up as much as I possibly could before I became frustrated. Lol I have 4 newly sprouted seedlings. They all look pretty healthy, but my question is when do I water these? I haven't actually watered it since day 1 when I planted the seedlings. and today is day 8. and I've just been spraying the tops with a spray bottle and keeping them moist. I let the soil really dry out these last two days though. the very bottom layer still looks a little moist but when do I water and how? til I get run off? my girls are in solo cups with God amount of drain holes.. thanks

Sounds like your doing everything right , just get a basic idea of the weight before and after and you'll have a good baseline to follow. Shoot for runoff ever other watering and you be golden.

so just water when it gets light?

like water with no run off and then next time it dries out water with run off and repeat?

Have any pics? Are they indoors? If so, what kind of light? Outdoors?....A good rule of thumb is to check the inner layer of soil with your pinkie. If its still moist then it can go another day or two. If its dry then its probably safe to water. They are seedlings so be easy on them. Good luck!
