WaterFarm, how often on?

If using a waterfarm, or similar, does it run all the time? What schedule are people using? Should it come on every hour, 2 hours, all the time? Also should it be off at night or no?

Any comments on this would be appreciated.

I didn't find anything on this, surely someone is an expert.

i feed for 15 min every 1 hr can run cont. but doesnt need to feed at night. i have air stone in the bottom of each that run full time when roots get to bottom its feed 24/7 in bloom they use about 3/4 gal each every day its more like dwc than anything top feed is not very effective with this mod. first grow i used botanicare organic nutes with intence instability. have since used synthetic nutes much better, currently using technaflora simple as hell just follow inst. ppms are way high but the girls like it. its genaric and i will be doing much more work to get to a better more specific feed. might even go coco. good luck and sorry i dont type well

Mine run constantly, but I also share a pump with an airstone, so i can't turn it off, or fear suffocation to the roots. You should NOT run the waterfarm at night, or it may grow algae in the dark. FME

Does anyone use just Organicare/Genreal O/organics with DWC/waterfarm?

does anyone know the best way to grow/prepare plants for going into a grow tent? i will not be able to set up the tent until February, but i wanted to get the clones growing. should i put them in the rockwool cubes that will eventually go into the hydro system? or should i just use smaller rockwool cubes until i get the tent up? what strength nutrients should i feed them?
