Watered down sulfuric acid safe for hydro?

I was on the net searching for a way to make a diy ph down, and came across a site where someone posted a recipe saying to add 1 cup of virgin sulfuric acid to 19 cups of water. My question is, being that im new to hydro, is this safe to use on your plants? is it safe to smoke? i heard sulfuric acid could be poisonous.. thanks for your help in advanced =).

Why don't you just buy a bottle of Ph down for a few bucks?

Agree with Fitz, use PH down..its cheap and I would not DIY when it comes to feeding my girls..maybe on their home and reservoir, not on their food or anything in their water..

yeah thats what i am going to do. Just gonna order some good ph down made from phosphoric acid which is food grade. i just read that on that site and found it odd and wanted to know if it was safe. imagine smoking sulfuric acid x.x
