Water volume in feed lines RDWC

Ive switched my feed lines to 3/8 id from 1/4 od hoses.Had enough of plugged lines.
My question is can you move the water too fast?The 1/4 feed lines would only move a little water allowing the return water to sit in the rez awhile cooling down.
Is there a formula to go by saying what flow rate ea pail/tote should get?
I run air stones in ea site and my rez holds 75% of the water.
I think I need a much smaller pump or maybe a timer.

you could put a tee at the end of each 3/8 line to slow it down a bit.

i wouldn't blast a small seedling with that much water but a bigger plant could handle it i think

I ran the feed through a hole just below the lid hitting the side of the net pot.Ive also added another T so now im bleeding even more into the rez creating a floom.Flow is still alot more then I had before so smaller pump is on order.
