water temps

Preferred water temp is 60 for maximum oxygen.
More bubbles help keep the temps lower. Larger res also helps fluctuations
because the bigger body of water holds temps longer.

You got a fan blowing straight on the tank? That'll help cool the mix...Roots like cool water. Not under 60, but low 60's is perfect

just depends on if your running beneficial bacteria or not. i used to keep my res at 68 and i now keep it at 72 since im using bene's in my res. and as for cloning you want the water at 75-78 and i clone in a 3 gallon bucket half full with a airstone bubbling is enough moisture to pull roots.i just got a lid for the 3 gallon bucket, drilled several 1 7/8" holes and use the foam collars to hold the clones. iv had roots in 6 days.
