I am running a single plant DWC grow in a closet. My water temp is running right around 82*. From what I hear this is to high for optimal yields.

What are the best and cheapest forms of controlling my temp?

Is 82* going to make a large difference in my yields or bud quality?

I was Looking at this small aquarium cooler called the IceProbe.

What do you think?

What about liquid coolers for PC video cards? Could something like that work?

thats a lot o cash to be wasting. i use cooler gel packs under the containers when needed. better ventilation is your best bet.

You could also try bottles of ice water... I was actually contemplating the same thing and I was going to come up with a system with 'Ice Cooled Lines'... I actually started a thread of the same name. Just do a search, a # of people replied. GOOD LUCK !

I doubt you're going to have room for a GALLON JUG in a DWC res... and I doubt you'd want it banging around in there.
Water chiller is a good idea though.
