so if my plant is drinking a gallon a day compared to a gallon every 3 days would you kinda assume it's close to the finished product?

Sorry if this a dumb ass question I am just courious!

How much water your plant uses has ZERO to do with how ripe your plant is. In actuality the closer to the end the slower it dries out. The work is done by that point. Then it's just maintaining life.

You want to look at tric color and the pistols to determine if it's ripe.

Anytime it gets more light, or grows closer to the light, or temps rise/rh falls then yes it will drink more which is probably whats happening. Towards ripening they really start to slow down like the above poster said.

Ah ok thanks for the quick responses! My temp was a little high today saw it at 79. usually 71-74. And I tied a string around my colas because they were starting to really sag. So I guess since that the colas were more upright and closer to the light by maybe 3in that is why it has been super thirsty...
Sweet Thanks yall!!
