I notice that my water PH after adding the nuts. it goes up to 7.4 .
When i try to lower it i have to add like 30 drops of the ph lower solution in 1 gallon of water and still stays at 7.0 ,so been afraid of adding to much solution I leave it there.
m'I doing right?
And second question , the water doesnt seam to run off> just a little be. Im growing under 300 watts of LED and it seams to be that it needs water just once a week.

Yeah, just add more until you're at 6.2-6.8

PH up/down is a scam, just use baking soda to make it more base, and vinegar to make it more acidic.

if your in some good quality soil, don't bother PH anything, not necessary, the soil will buffer it, unless your water is way off, but then you shouldn't use that water

and what do you mean with run off ? water until you see some, don't stop before (make sure your pot`s have good drain hole`s) and then wait untill the pot`s are dry and light to lift, if it take 2 days or a week dont matter, if you have a small plant in a hugh pot and low temperatures it will most likely take a week, if you have hugh flowering plant`s in small pot`s you might have to water every second day, all depend

and under LEDs they use less, in the same pot with the same size plant I only water every 4th day in flowering, with the 600W HPS I had to water every second day (HID lights produce a lot of heat)

Alot of heat the more your plant will perspire and wick water out of the medium, the cooler it is the less water they will need to draw to stay cool and such. As long as your temps are cool and your plants are happy everything is fine. The best way to make sure if you need to water is to simply pick your plant up. The reason I like organics is as long as your water ph is all right your soil will work out the rest of the ph issues, pretty handy. If you're doing hydro or chemical nutes I don't know what to tell you brother if ph down or up don't work on your water and nutes, and B.T.W. unless you're filling a 15 gal res for a hydroponic setup or something 30 drops of ph down is alot that stuff is basicaly acid dude. :peace: out.

I don't know what ph down your using, you shouldn't need 30 drops, one drop of the one I use takes the ph from 8 to 7. I use it a lot and have had the same 250ml bottle for 2 years and its half full and my water is about 8.4 .

Thank you guys so much for all this quick answers!!!!!!!!
The solution i'm using it was given to me , dont know wich one it is but with the nuts i add to the water it may be hard to lower the ph but still i thought 30 drops in 1 gallon of water was too much and the 2 times i lower the ph i had problems.(cointidence )

I myself had experienced only vinegar and RO water / tap water, but in water quality videos I've watched, they mention some water sources can only take few drops of down or up solution as it has no buffer in the water (ro water, purified, distilled), where as well water with average pH will take 8x more solution compared to city water ect, as it has diff buffering capacity, maybe this is why he is experiencing this compared to you.

^think this vid was one i was referencing, which was helpful to understand why vinegar was reacting different in tap and r/o water. I might have interpreted this wrong though, not really sure.

The video says that some one needs up to 80 drops so that means that my solucion is not bad??

this was just in respect to adjusting to use the ionic ferts buddy, better get more certain experienced opinion. I am not experienced grower, but it was a video I bookmarked as it was the type of nutrients I had purchased.

somethings you can read/watch and it can be correct info, but interpretation of it is wrong, kinda either trial/error or have someone with experience give the advice, gl.

the reason I say that, is because I'm not experienced enough to be certain a buffering capacity of the water has anything to do with your problem, I had just thought i'd link you vid, as what you were explaining did remind me of it.

Isnt it that u still have to keep the same temperature no matter what light u use?

Dissenting opinion, both barrels.

Sodium is toxic to cannabis, so avoid sodic bases. At best it'll be liable to lock out the goodies.
And vinegar feeds non-beneficial bacteria and slimies. I'd much prefer using a plant nutrient (nitric, phosphoric) or at least a non-slime-promoting (sulfuric) acid for the pH-down. Jmo. cn

i know my tap water is like 8.1 ph and 450-490 ppm it takes alot of ph down to move it much at all bc it has alot of calcium in it. i use ro usualy and a few drops of ph down or up makes huge ph changes.
