Water Cure Flavoring/Color Idea!

I read a few posts in the past from people using foodcoloring to try to color their weed and I was thinking...

What would happen if you did a water cure and lets say throw a new packet of grape koolaid(The Sugarless packets) into the water everyday you change your water for the week your water curing!

Would it turn purple and taste like grape?!?

I am currently trying my first water cure and just thought about it!
Too bad tonight is my 7th night or else id try it.

Anyone?

doesn't sound like a good idea, I'm sure the flavoring ingredient in kool aid doesn't taste like grapes when you burn it, hell if you burn grapes I'm sure the smoke won't taste like grapes..if you want weed that taste like grapes then buy a strain that naturally taste like grapes....I don't know..IMO...I would never want to contaminate the flavor of my cannabis with a flavor that I added to it..especially an artificial one......I like to smoke cannabis and taste the flavor dance on my pallet...and I hate anything that inhibits this..like dealers that where to much cologne and handle there buds..yuck....anyways even if you got the shit to soak into your bud like I said at the beginning once you carbonized the bud the smoke created by the flavoring and coloring ingredients would probably taste like crap...

From what I have read water curing takes almost all ifnot all the flavoring from the weed. Thats why I was asking, I love the taste of weed but if water curing takes it all away id like to try something to add a taste back to it.

See my dilemma is I had a bunch of weed with cholorphil taste and I been trying to make it better. Curing in jars for 5+weeks didn't do jack!

Maybe ill try a gram or something with the koolaid and test it.

first of all there is no convievable reason, you would want to put aspartame in your pot. let alone sugar, or dye. ganj is perfect the way it is, and if water curing takes the taste away, why do it. i could be wrong but its possible that the harsh taste your talking about is due to not flushing properly, and having left over nute salts.

Hrm.. I don't see any crackling when I smoke the stuff, so i figured all the nutes where out.
I flushed for 2 weeks with just water/molasses, however I never did a full flush of the plants as I have seen others in the forums have issues after doing a flush with like 3 times amount of water.

I read using sugarless extracts is the way to go for flavoring when done in hydro/aero set up and I was gonna try it out by water curing an extra day and adding some. gonna try to make tropical with pineapple, cherry and orange, and dream sickle with orange and vanilla.
