Might add, if you have ANY light leaks, a chiller isn’t going to save you on its own in most cases.

I bought a 1/4hp a couple years ago, regardless of my grow medium, it’s one of my best purchases.

Do you mean inside a tent? I’m just growing inside my spare bathroom which is a room inside a room so the only light that gets in there is when the light gets turned on it’s pitch black dark in the middle of the day.

Yeah nice and would you say your 1/4hp cooled your 100 gallon system easily?

No, I mean light leaks in the water. Yeah it easily cools 100 gallons in 30c.

Oh that make sense! Yeah I’m gunna try and see if I can find any once I’ve got it set up and running to try and mitigate any issues! Nice I might just go with the 1/6hp then which should be more then enough

how about a pre-insulated res?
tons of inexpensive insulated ice chest/coolers of all sizes out there. $30 for a 48qt. at wallymart.

I’d just have to watch videos on how to make one as I’ve done no research on that sort of thing and I like in australia so I’ve never even heard of wallymart hahaha

think about it, just a couple holes in the lid really.
pretty simple.
