Water Analysis results - help needed

Hey all,
I would appreciate your input about the results of my water and whether my water is good enough for hydroponics or not. Looking at the parameters of the results I would appreciate if you can explain whether I need hard water nutrients or soft water nutrients. What is the worst reading in your opinion and so on.

I will not post all the results as some I did understand.

Conductivity at 20 C (uS/cm) - 635
Total Dissolved Solids (mg/L) - 406.4
Hardness of Water (mg/l) - 249.6
Calcium (mg CACO3/L) - 193.65
Sodium (mg Na/L) - 14
Potassium (mg K/L) - 2
Chloride (mg CI/L) - 21.02
Nitrates (mg NO3/L) - 32.2

thank you for your inputs

Way to high in DSs.

Neither should you be drinking/cooking with such DS. You must need a ton of laundry soap. Water takes longer to boil, water heater will die, pipes in the house will corrode...

Get a
good RO like Aquathin and you will be good for decades, filter changes will depend on volume. Since you DS is so high, get the additional pump. The boost in pressure will significantly improve effluent results

what I didnt write was the second column of the results which was the norm recommended by the organization/lab. Everything seemed to be within the recommended norm or less. Nothing was too high for their liking. Although everything in this country seems to be corrupt so I do have that negative thinking about them.

My concern now is, when buying hydroponic nutrients, looking at what the water I have, I should buy "Hard water" nutrients? Any expertise on that?

Im am not ready to install RO system just now.

thx for the input mate
You're welcome

Let me elaborate. Water chemistry is critical. There is a best ratio for CaMg v the rest of the nutes. Your tap water MIGHT be too high in CaMg, which will lock out the other nutes.

You will use far too much water in hydro to buy it at the store. Aquathin is an international company, so look for a local dealer

Best of luck

i see your point. unfortunately it is not the proper time as I have invested in a LED panel, NFT system and general grow room building costs. I will go with hard water nutrients and see what happens.
