washington med. mar. question

hey my question is can i grow for more then 1 patient i myself dont have my card my i grow for a family member, now my friend got his card and wants me to grow for him, but i dont want to break the law and i have not been able to get a good anwser from anyone yet, so if you know let me know thanks

According to WA laws as of today's date....... You need to be a *designated provider* to either pick up medication from a collaborative or to grow medical marijuana for a patient, including your family member. That being said, you can only be a designated provider for one patient at a time. Best of luck. Suite
 
i have a contract between the patient and myself and that contract along with the medical recommendation is posted to the wall of my veg room, i guess what i am getting at is do i have to report or get approved to be a legal provider

These laws differ from state, in CA as a medical marijuana patient I can share or give some medication to another who is also a legal medical marijuana patient. If those same laws hold up in WA, you would have no problem doing that for your family member as well as your friend. In CA (as a patient) I can have up to 24 *rooted* plants.
