One of my girls is measuring close to 3' and is in 1st week of flower, (she's a beast, thick and bushy). Anyways last night I was doing a little tying down and sure enough, snap! I looked down and there was a split in the main stem where I topped a while ago and where the main tops base is. The split is goes about 3in down and I put some plant wraps and twist ties around it to hold it together. Is there anything else I should do, I was thinking of using zip ties to get it a bit tighter. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks- Ds

I did that shit myself once, my split was probably bigger. I wired it up and smeared some rooting compound on it . and it was fine.

So I went back to watching game of thrones repeats and passed out, didn't even bother checking the board.

as long as it doesn't hermie from the stress you're good. I've seen many plants explode with growth from it actually, in my garden. I used to paint on that black tar on the wounds on plants to fend off insects and help with recovery, but I don't even bother with this anymore. just keep an eye open for nanners, some strains don't like stress.

This happened to my plant. 2 inch split, taped and tide together with hemp and it actually made every stalk from the split boost in growth. I'm 3 weeks into flower and she's doing better then well. Just my two cents, I was totally stressed when I did it I thought it was over, but it just made it stronger.

Easy man just take some tape or some string and wrap it around the split area for a week or two the plant is far from fragile and in nature much worse has happened but they keep on growing!!
