Ya DeVos is a joke. I agree, but it has nothing to do with Warrens policy. Can you comment on the argument I made? You don't think it's a political stunt to appeal to the woke crowd? Do you think a 9yr old really is going to be where the buck stops, or should be, or do you think he/she will have any clue what he/she is doing? Honestly, how relevant do you think the opinion of a 3rd grader is? It's a cute gesture, but let's get real, it's quite silly and doesn't make much sense at all.
It's not a big vote getter. lol Only for a very teeny tiny fraction of the population, maybe. WTF anyway? It's like saying people with two dicks get a tax break. How many votes will that bring in? Why even mention it? Dumb.

“I’m gonna have a secretary of education that this young trans person interviews, on my behalf, and only if this person believes that our secretary of education nominee is someone who is committed to creating a welcoming environment, a safe environment, and a full educational curriculum for everyone, will that person actually be advanced to be secretary of education.”

Not sure children are qualified or posses the foresight to be burdened with this power. Not sure singling out trans kids for this burden reflects or is inclusive to the historical slights that rise to greater magnitudes of documented cases concerning public education and other minority communities (ie communities of color). Not sure the criteria for qualification based soley on sexual orientation is logical. Seems like she made it up on the spot. Sounds like a hysterical appeal to the woke community imo. Let's be intelligent with our advocacy for minority rights. Most else what she's ran on is great imo, but as soon as you start going places like this, legitamacy is diminished.

Vote Republicans Out.
To answer your question then, yes I do think it is illogical/hysterical for anyone to worry about what she said. Basically that whoever Warren picks to be the Education secretary will get to sit with some kid (who asked her the question at a town hall) before their name is submitted to the Senate for approval.

Is it some old fashion political pandering, of course, but it doesn't mean it is coming from a bad place, or is in anyway going to have the full weight of this kid picking the Education secretary.

Edit: Reminds me of this:

I am aways up for some good kid-centric political pandering.

That's what I'm saying. Only reason to put a trans 3rd grader on a pedestal like that is to appeal to the ultra woke AF. Just because you think a policy is crazy and happened to come from a woman doesn't mean you're mysoginistic, but I definitely ruffled the feathers with what I would call common sense.

Maybe it will finally get rid of those pesky racist math and science classes in exchange for smugness 101, and "my mental disorder now controls your life", as well as "the evils of being white, why it's not discrimination to hate white men for the color of their skin and the bodies they were born with"
oh look

A nazi

One word to cover all the topics most useful to troll.

Since when is stating the fact that 3rd graders don't belong in governmental process, defined as "devisive" and surrounding topics of "race, immigtation, and Second Amendment rights"? What race was offended? Was it about immigration? Guns? Or perhaps, it's just plain silly? Ive said countless times that 90% else of what she says is good (refer to OP as example). Not every candidate is going to say everything you like, but I think we can all agree that collectively, regardless what camp you're in, that Warrens policy proposal was a bit over the top. I called it a hysterical appeal to the ultra woke. I still think it is.

Come on man that is a stupid troll you are spouting.

If it is too hard for some competent adult looking to head up the Education Department can't convince a little kid that they are not scary, maybe they shouldn't be nominated anyway.

It is the anti-race/sexual identity/any other bias troll that is designed to infuriate people afraid of the 'other' card you pull when you complain about that word you use way too often to be a coincidence.
