warranty replacement ballast hydrofarm

I searched and couldn't find any info on anyone trying or having issues on replacing a ballast under warranty
600w xtrasun magnetic
1000w xtrasun magnetic
both have a 5 year warranty on them and they both took a dump last run

I have more of them so I was able to test cords and the only variable was the ballast
so I'm trying to get some info if anyone else has had to replace them before and how willing they are to replace them and how long it usually takes if someone has one replaced before
