Wanted Patient or Caregiver


I will be up there Monday ( in Florida now ) looking for a home to buy or a place to rent , my goal is to become a resident / get a card / grow MM /make and consume RSO for health reasons , there is no down side to my goal , if I have over estimated the health effects of MM the smoking will make me feel better even if I am not much better .
My situation is the fact that health problems and no insurance has allowed the medical system to suck up most of my funds , it seems most of the homes I can afford are located in places that may not be to good , and renting I will have to worry about the landlord finding out I’m growing UNLESS the landlord would be a Patient or Caregiver .
I am looking for a Patient that for some reason is not growing but has a place to grow , I could grow their 12 plants plus my 12 or ---- a caregiver that is overloaded with work and needs free help ---- or a caregiver that is maxed out on patients and has a desire to help more patients , I could be an avenue to more patients ( if you get my drift ) I am not doing this to make money but making a little while helping others sounds good also . I posted about this before and the response was ( “ what did I have to offer ? )

I can see that if I find the right person , there could be an advantage for both of us . If you can see an advantage for you please PM me .

Good luck! If you are renting, do NOT tell the landlord what you are doing. This makes him liable to property seizure in a federal case from what I understand. The less people that know, the better..preferable zero people. If you are buying, well it takes a couple months to close on a house typically so you can use that time to plan/get grow equipment/strains. Don't rush it!

What I would do if I were you would be to look for houses to rent that are off the beaten path. Hopefully a rental that is secluded, that way the owner/management company will be less likely to come out just to check/snoop on you! Also pay ALL your bills early to discourage people from coming out! Once you get into a place do like Fatt said and Don't rush! Start ordering your shit now, ie your grow equipment. First is deciding your beans to start with then from there get your tent,light,soil,PH testers, pots, so on and so on.

I know you are tight on money but you absolutly can't skimp on your genetics, soil, and bulb! IMHO your tent and all that other shit you can buy cheap for now, flip your first crop then expand! If you do it right you can get up and rolling for under $500 no problem.

And PH your water B4 feeding your plants! That alone will save you tons of problems! GL in your search!

you cloud possibly be ok w/ a rental short term, like a year or two. in that time a rental inspection shouldn't occur, in rural areas they may not exist at all. IMO it is easy to tell what kind of person the LL is just through meeting and questioning. Most LL's just want to get their check by the first (I'm going to deposit one from my only tenant today, that's all I expect from a renter and they can do as they please). Good luck tracking down those bank owned foreclosures too. Although a hassle, it is prolly cheaper to PURCHASE, except for maintenance concerns. also consider owner financed land contracts. tons of home inventory here so if the owner can do LC to sell they will... lots of LCs these days. message me if you have any specific real estate questions, I may have some insight. Never been involved in a LC tho.

Thanks everyone , I have checked out the idea of land contracts , and there are a couple of cheap dumps by Hillsdale might work , got my grow system down pat , I know Hydro well , going to use DWC , with CFL lights to start with , Abe you’re the kind of landlord I’m looking for . If I could find a landlord that would trade part of the rent for labor it would be even better . I’m sure things will fall into place once I’m up there . If any of you know anyone that could gain at the same time help let me know You people are cool .

You sure you can't run a HPS bulb?

The hydro stores in Michigan have several inexpensive bulb/ballast/hood packages.

In my honest opinion you would be much happier with the results.

Do you Veg and Flower with the HPS ? I talked to a supply house in Taylor they had CFL real cheap , 35 w 2700K and 5400k , he said if I was going to use CFL he would use all 5400 K ? From what I've read I need 30 W per sq ft , The way I made my unit here in Florida worked perfect , 2ftX2ft flood and drain , PVC frame with Mylar , but only used 104 W , I know thats not enough but I was only growing Moon Flowers , I figure I would grow two plants in each 2X2 that way if I have a problem it wont wipe me out , I also tried a DWC with a bubbler and liked that even better , Seen them on Utube , I added an extra bucket and connected them together with 1 in PVC at the top side and a small pump on a timer , that way I can test and treat the water when I want , its a lot of stuff but I enjoy playing with it .

I would skip the place in taylor, you will be able to fins what you are looking for closer to where you are at
I just finished looking at places in the Detroit area found a duplex for 8,000 , and it looked fairly good then checked rental units , the rent for a place like the duplex rents for from 450 to 525 , thinking I could live upstairs and rent lower part , big enough for a large grow room , could keep low profile . only problem would be the 8,000 , depressing , would be cool if the seller would carry the paperwork , could happen .

Looking forward to getting up there , when I find a place I'll post the area , and I'm sure someone will clue me in on the best places , Question ___ what is that G3C I keep seeing various posters talking about ?

I moved to Lansing, MI about a year ago from IL and I have to say I love the area. There are cheap houses, relatively low crime, lots of hot college girls and I have had zero trouble getting rid of overages.

I will be checking that area out , checked the reality adds and there are a lot of reasonable homes but beyond my limit , I’m limited on funds and my credit is in the crapper . I like the part about getting rid of overages and the crime rate checks low .
50 years ago the part about the hot college girls might have meant something but now any hot college girls I might have known are not so hot old lady’s . I have to find something real real cheap or a land contract , or a landlord that dose not care if I grow . I am looking for a grower that needs help and has space to rent and room for me to grow my 12 plants . Thanks for the information .

Come up to the U.P. There are loads of houses for sale for less than $10,000. Some of them are real shitty, but there are some gems in there too. I would check the Crystal falls, Iron Mountain, and Iron River area out. We bought our house on a land contract for $32,000, and our mortgage is only $300 a month. Will be paid off in 6 years with a balloon payment at the end of the 6 years. Gotta go. Have to start working on that balloon payment:mrgreen:.

What I will settle for is a real old run down piece of shit home that is cheap , cheap , cheap . Checking Flint area now .

2 acres. 200 x 800 ft lot.
