THANKS, WOULD THIS REDUCE THE COBS TO BE RUNNING AT 700MA ASWELL? OR IS THERE A WAY TO KEEP THE COBS AT 1400 AND RUN THE DEEP RED AT 700MA?
If you want to do this off the COB driver, then you would tap off a cable, where ever you want it and then split that tap and just run the reds as mentioned ie divide the tap into a parallel string that only runs the monos, that will have no effect on your main cabling of the COBs, of course you just need to be sure the total system remains within the power capacity of the driver
Cheers

Thanks Mark, I'm a little confused on what tap into the driver means, could you explain to me ?

Does this mean I'm splitting a wire into two wires from the main output end?

sorry image is a quick one to explain so not pretty, tapped of the end of the COB string but you could place anywhere, the stars are in series in this image, but off course you can take that and parallel them to get your 700ma(divide string into two)
Cheers

Thanks Mark will that mean
if I added the parallel circuit would this reduce the amps that are.given to the series circuit of cobs ?
