Walmart lights?

Hey guys they sell these $10 lights at wallmart they are 2ft (lights of america) "grow lights". Theyre flourescent style with 7800k and like 17w the light they put out is really purple. Are these good lights? should I use them with something else?

Stick with CFLs over shorter 'econno' tube floros.
Grow lights usually cut intensity to gain spectrum. Not a good thing on a low intensity bulb to start with.
