Wall Grow(this thread actually works)

Okay sorry about the last few threads, for some reason they would not work but anyways... I have been researching low stress training quite a bit and some new ideas came abrupt. Instead of trying to tie down the main stem in a circle, why not just make it grow horizontal once 90 degree bend is made? My ultimate question is whether to have plants horizontal on the wall (shelves),vertical lights, with a 2 wall setup like a stadium just without the setback shelves like bleachers. Or to have them horizontal on the flat ground with normal lights with reflectors. the picture is setup like the first concept, thanks for stoppin by

Say the plants tip starts interfering, then plants would just be moved farther down the shelf, i kinda said it wrong in the picture. Also mind my paint skills lol just tryin to make sure obvious questions would be answered right away. Please give me opinions on why and why it wouldnt be a great idea, especially comparing to normal low stress training

come on someones gotted be interested...

I didn't even know you were supposed to lst in a circle..... I have been lst'ing like your pic from the start. i make the first bend right after the first node and keep them horizontal after that.. Your setup seems like it would work but i just have the lights hung normally overhead with reflector

Man i wish the lights were on id take some pics right now... Its pretty cool, since they are lst horizontal i can keep the lights within 2 inches of any given part of the plant, as a result the lower branches dont branch more than 1/2 to 1 inch and i pretty much have a single cola

I am definately intruigued by the vertical grows. Is it reallt that much cooler? How far would the canopy have to be away from a 600 watt HPS? Custom shelves on casters would be cool....

hahahahahahaha omg, that made my day comin home from work to see those pictures, thanks for making it useful now ;) lol jk. But honestly i dont even have anything planned until i move to the new house closer into the summer, just been really wanting to make this the best first grow on the site! Also im located in town which i dont want to be. It might be ok if i could get rid of the smell but i would still be too paranoid.
