VPD

Hey guys,

I'm guessing there's a thread already for this but I couldn't find it.

I'm looking for scientific studies stating percent average increase in yields at different VPD's.

For example, if running VPD 0.3 kPa higher than ideal decreasing growth by 10% or 2%.

Bruce Bugbee discusses air temperature, humidity, and how to measure both in part 1 of 9 in the ICT International and Apogee Instruments lectures that took place at the Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment campus of the Western Sydney University.

Hey thanks, OSBuds!

I just finished watching it. Very informative stuff. Bruce really is great and providing fundamental concepts in the realm of growing.

Do you know any more scientific resources for VPD? More specifically, resources where they measured the difference in growth rate at different VPD's.

Quite curious to see if it is worth the additional purchase in equipment.

Expecting to pull down around 2.5 - 3.0 pounds with my next two grows. My thinking is if a $300.00 dehumidifier can allow me to run VPD at higher temps and I could increase yields by 3-4% it would be worth the investment.
